HoloLamp is a successful project which was showcased during CES 2017 and has undergone some changes now. The lamp can seamlessly project images onto any surface, a desk or wall. You don’t have to wear glasses or headsets to see the projection. The HoloLamp allows you to navigate using a PS4 controller and you don’t have to be wearing a headset to see the action.
The current technology allows projections using bigger machines but in the near future, you may see an interactive AR projection from your smartwatch or a bracelet. Such a level of intuitiveness is what researchers are aiming to achieve.
