The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 model was released in November 2016. Fans were somewhat disappointed when they found out that the dual-curved display device only came initially with Black and Silver options. Moreover, at the CES 2017 event, the producer revealed three more options: Blue, Green and Pink, available for this particular model. However, they don’t seem to stop here.
According to a post on Weibo written by Lei Jun, who is the Xiaomi founder, this phone might receive soon another color option. This time, it seems that we are going to enjoy a Coral Blue shade for the device. The founder also posted some pictures of himself, while he was away to ski in Switzerland, and there he is holding a blue phone which he confirmed to be the Mi Note 2 model.
This model is supposed to be an alternative for the Galaxy Note 7 device, which makes this release of a color that is also provided by Samsung a wise move. However, some say it’s merely an imitation, but either way the Xiaomi company seems to be winning here.
For now we don’t know when the Mi Note 2 will be released in this version, but people expect to be launched together with the other three upcoming colors.
The device offers a 5.7 inches dual-curved display that has a FHD 1080p resolution. It runs on a Snapdragon 621 processor, together with 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB internal memory. The rear camera is 22.56 MP, while the front one is 8 MP. Mi Note 2 is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner and it is powered by a 4,070 mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0. All in all, it’s a great phone and people who use it declare themselves satisfied.
