Due to some game releases slowing down as well as the holiday season, driver updates started to cease as well. NVIDIA has released a new driver just a little over a half month in when we all thought that developers decided to take a well-desired vacation for them as well. This update should not be neglected by any means as it is a rather big one.
It comes with a lot of bug fixes as well as game support but the main feature is that it brings so many SLI profilers to the table which will most certainly delight gamers who own multi-GPU computers. A new branch was recently made available with the release of the 378 drivers. It fixed a lot of issues such as flashes in Just Cause 3 as well as some faces which weren’t behaving accordingly in the popular Assassin’s Creed – Syndicate.
Battlefield 1 was also not neglected as it finally got a fix for those pesky rain puddles which were often appearing to be black. Some unit errors have also received a fix in regard to Folding @ Home. A new update is currently being rumored to hit the same sector as it continues to have some undesired issues.
The new update also comes with some extra features when it comes to supporting the recent GeForce GTX 1050 and 1050Ti cards which are to be found on notebooks. Games which are in the closed beta phase including the likes of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Conan Exile Early access have also received game ready support and we can only wait for them to hit the shelves.
Perhaps the biggest feature of this update is a huge list of SLI profiles which might come as a reignited initiative from the popular manufacturer or just a side effect of the new driver branch. Those who are using SLI profiles are in for a treat notwithstanding if this is an intentional addition from NVIDIA or not.
