Perhaps Elder Scrolls 6 is the most anticipated title in the gaming world today, and this despite the fact that Bethesda hasn’t even confirmed that they started the work for this installment. In fact, the confirmation for the existence of this title was made in the beginning of 2016. Now we are already in 2017 and yet no update on the development.

There are also signs that show that the company is working on the game. The first one would be the fact that Bethesda confessed that their plans in 2017 do not focus on Fallout 4. Since Fallout and Elder Scrolls are the only two franchises managed and developed by the company, it is pretty obvious that they are focusing all their efforts on the Elder Scrolls 6.

Another hint might be the statement released by Pete Hines. The representative of Bethesda said on Twitter that they will let us know whenever there is something interesting to show. Although this was intended as an answer to all the questions about the upcoming game, it definitely did not clear anything up. If you want to be superstitious, one way in this direction is to recall every time Pete Hines said something similar, it took less than 2 years for the game to be ready.

Though this is not such an optimistic perspective, it is still a reassurance that we might get the chance to play the game in 2018. In two years they have the time and other resources to finish it up, even if they have to develop a new game engine. All in all, people are really curious to see if they will leak any more information about the Elder Scrolls 6 or if we are going to receive a certain release date.
