After the release for PS4 in December, recently Capcom has revealed some new details about the future version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. First of all, the game will be launched for Xbox One and PC on the 7th of March. You will be able to buy both versions digitally, for the price of $25. The same price is set for the PS4 version too.
On the same day, the team will release the physical editions for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, which will be available with the help of GameStop. They are $5 more expensive, which means they cost $30, and on the Capcom blog you can see that they are described as being “limited edition”. They offer some upgraded cover art and a 10-page comic which is exclusive.
Sean Chen and Gerardo Sandoval from Marvel brought some art to this comic. The story follows the events in two colliding universes that contain some of the most popular characters designed by Marvel and Capcom.
You can preorder the physical edition of the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 through GameStop in the US. If you live in Canada, this is possible through EB Games. However, it is unclear how limited their availability is. In this case, it is advisable to hurry if you want to get your hands on one of the copies.
Another good news is the fact that there is a new game in the series that is being developed. Presumably it will be released this year under the name of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite and it will be come in versions for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, so as to make all gamers happy. Though there aren’t many other details about it, people are excited about this installment too.
