Displays and Designs

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a Super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 515 ppi. The device won’t be different from its predecessor, so you should expect the same shiny glass back and metallic frame. On the other hand, the LG G6 has a smaller IPS LCD display of 5.3-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 554 ppi. Both displays are protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device won’t have a modular design, but a classic metal body with a protruding dual camera and a fingerprint scanner below.

Both handsets will be released in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB, which you will be able to expand up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a primary camera of 12MP that features dual-LED flash, OIS, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama, auto HDR, face detection and a secondary camera of 8MP.
