Smartphones can make a lasting impression on people, and it’s not uncommon for people to prefer one model over a newer version of it. Still, the one thing people can agree upon is that having the best and latest Android software is an extremely important point of any smartphone.

Some people have gotten lucky and get the new update right away; others are not so lucky and have to wait until their given access to it.

For instance, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch model includes the benchmarking tool result list known as GFX Bench, which is seen with the Android Nougat 7.0. The interesting point is that Samsung never mentioned it for this tablet, but this wouldn’t be the South Korean’s company first time to surprise the public.

Samsung is also bringing the Nougat software to its Galaxy S7 models, essentially ensuring the company has entered the Nougat market. Several device owners can rejoice while others just sit and wait… impatiently.

The Galaxy Tab S2 comes in an eight-inch screen size as well. There’s been no news about this model getting the update, but it would be a good idea – marketing wise – if it did come with the update.

Until more is known, only rumors persist about what may or may not happen. It could be that another Samsung device gets the Android N firmware.
