Bioware has finally revealed the release date of the Mass Effect: Andromeda during the CES 2017 event. So, after months of waiting, we finally know that Mass Effect: Andromeda will hit the stores on March 21, 2017. Unfortunately, Bioware has not revealed too much information about this upcoming game, but it assured us that the game will please all Mass Effect fans.
Aaryn Flynn, the general manager at Bioware, has written a blog post where he has announced the release date along with a new gameplay trailer that was revealed during NVIDIA’s CES Keynote.
The Mass Effect: Andromeda is taking place 600 years after Shepard’s story, where players will find themselves in the Andromeda galaxy. The gamers will take on the role of a pathfinder that’s named Ryder, which has to lead the search for humanity’s new home in the mentioned galaxy.
Bioware has also mentioned that the Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be released for the Nintendo Switch, a console that will also be released in March 2017, but instead it will receive some improvements for the PlayStation 4 Pro. Unfortunately, the developer has not revealed that it has such plans with the Microsoft’s Project Scorpio.
There will also be a season pass for the game that will include some of the DLCs that will be released for the game, but Flynn didn’t mention the total DLCs that the season pass will contain.
There are reports which say that a multiplayer beta will soon be released, where selected gamers will be able to try it. Here is the Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer that has been released during CES 2017:
