First of all, we should mention that the Xiaomi Mix Evo has not been confirmed yet, while the HTC U Ultra has not only been showcased during CES 2017, but it will also hit the stores sometime in March 2017.
The Xiaomi Mix Evo measures 158.8×81.9×7.9mm and weights 209 grams. It’s a bezel-less phone, more likely a high end variant of the popular Xiaomi Mi Mix and it will arrive in two variants of colors: white and black. On the other hand, the HTC U Ultra is slightly thicker and lighter as it measures 162.4×79.8x8mm and weights 170 grams, it features a curved metal body, but it’s super shiny and reflective and the available colors will be Brilliant Black, Cosmetic Pink, Ice White, and Sapphire Blue.
The Xiaomi Mix Evo has an IPS LCD display of 6.4-inch that supports a resolution of 2040×1080 pixels at 361 ppi. The HTC U Ultra comes with a smaller super LCD 5 display of 5.7-inch that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 513 ppi.

The Xiaomi Mix Evo features a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset, a quad-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.45GHz and a quad-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.9GHz, an Adreno 540 graphics card and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The HTC U Ultra has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mix Evo is expected to be released in two internal storage variants of 128GB and 256GB, but it will not feature a card slot for storage expansion. The HTC U Ultra comes in two internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB, which you are able to expand up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Xiaomi Mix Evo sports a primary camera of 16MP that features phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP. The HTC U Ultra has a primary camera of 12MP that features OIS, laser & phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, auto HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 16MP.
The Xiaomi Mix Evo features a non-removable battery of 4400 mAh, which is way more powerful than the non-removable battery of 3000 mAh that the HTC U Ultra comes with.
