It has been confirmed that Minecraft will be released for Nintendo, but it is not sure yet when this will happen. Unfortunately, the company has not mentioned any details regarding when the game will be released for this platform.

On the official website of Nintendo, Minecraft has been described as “Create your very own game world to explore, build and conquer. When night falls, the monsters appear, so ensure you’ve made yourself a shelter before they arrive. Make it through the night and the world is only limited by your imagination you choose what you want to make or what to do.”

We have to mention that this game is already available for both mobile and desktop platforms such as: Windows OS, Mac OS, Linux, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Android, iOS and more. Mojang has managed to sell over 106 million copies of Minecraft in 2016, which makes it one of the best-selling games of all time.

We remind you that Microsoft has purchased the Minecraft’s developer Mojang for $2.5 billion in 2014. Many Minecraft fans were very disappointed when this happened, as they thoughts that Microsoft will stop developing Minecraft for platforms owned by other companies. Soon enough, Microsoft has promised that it will keep updating the Minecraft game for all platforms and that the fans should not worry about it.

Today it has been confirmed once again that Microsoft was telling the truth, as the game is now being prepared to be released for Nintendo. The company that has its headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, will probably come soon with more details about Minecraft and when exactly it will be released for its console.
