World of Warcraft is still one of the most popular games as players who chose either Horde or Alliance prepare for Nighthold on January 17th. Prior to that however, they will have face a new patch which was announced at Blizzcon. It will feature a lot of new content for players to rejoice in older parts of the game and a large number of class changes.

The patch is scheduled to hit live serves on January 10th and was heavily speculated by World of Warcraft fans a long time ago. The patch is set to deliver the return of the Brawler’s Guild as well as some Mists of Pandaria timewalking. It will also feature some micro-holidays for players to enjoy, such as the opening of Ahn’Qiraj as well as an option to take part in Volunteer Guard Day.

Some class changes are scheduled to be included in this patch as well as the addition on some long awaited legendaries for each specific class. A full patch notes has not be posted as of yet but it will be available next Tuesday. Those who play on the PTR regularly have some sense of understanding of what to expect and how their characters will be affected as well.

A new feature will be the addition of legendary trinkets which are shared across roles and not bound to a specific class or specialization. Other existing legendaries are also scheduled to be changed as they will receive some updates which will make them less useless. As more legendaries are being added to the game, Blizzard is planning to increase the drop rates of these specific items in future patches. The patch has been already downloaded and you can expect it to hit live servers on January 10th.
