The Chinese based tech giant Huawei has recently announced that they flattest flagship which bears the name of Mate 9 will hit the shelves on January the 6th with Amazon Alexa preinstalled. They’ve even stated that it will confer a sense of naturalness and convenience for those who wish talking to the digital assistant. It is capable of setting alarms, making lists and even getting information about weather and news.



Amazon is looking to spread their digital assistant to a plethora of devices but they’ve really reached an important milestone by embedding it into a smartphone. It looks like they are planning to enter a domain where Apple’s Siri and the Google Assistant reign supreme. Don’t falter if you really want this app on your device because if you own the previous version of the Mate 9, Huawei will issue an over the air update for you as well.

Huawei’s Mate 9 is a flagship worthy device which comes equipped with a price tag of $600 in the United States and with a good reason. It has an enormous 5.9 inch screen along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage all powered by a huge 4000mAh battery.

It has some exciting features such as the quickest fingerprint sensor on the market and sports a rear dual camera build. Its processing power comes from Huawei’s homegrown Kirin 960 chip and it features innovative technology such as following users’ patterns in order to tweak the system in accordance to its users needs.

Two color variants will be made available in the shape of gray and silver and big providers such as Best Buy and online stores which include the likes of Newegg, Amazon and B&H will have it on stock starting from January the 6th.
