Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is an anticipated smartphone coming from worldwide successful Koream manufacturer Samsung. A previous version was released and feedback was positive. The device is not a flagship unit but rather a mid-ranged drive that focuses on a different market sector than its Galaxy S7 and upcoming Galaxy S8 devices.
Due to leaked renders of the device, many people got to see what the handset would feature, including a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The processing power is ensured by the Exynos 78880. The Samsung made unit will be supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded through a microSD card. The phone will also house a 16 MP rear camera.
The 2017 model for the Samsung Galaxy A5 also promises decent specs although they are lower than the ones found in the A7 model. The screen is smaller, only featuring 5.2 inches and there are only 2 GB of RAM. However the processor, storage and even camera sport the same numbers as the A7, which is interesting.
Both devices are expected to make an official appearance at CES 2017 but before that can happen it looks like Samsung is planning an event in Kuala Lumpur. The event is scheduled on the 5th of January and it is believed to be a pre- CES event that will officially announce the two smartphones locally. A worldwide unveiling will presumably take place at the CES 2017 event.
As the 5th of January is almost on the horizon, we won’t have to wait a whole lot before finally seeing what Samsung’s latest smartphones look like and what they have to offer.
Although prices weren’t officially unveiled yet, it is believed that the two units will be much more affordable than flagship devices.
