Considering that the New Year is coming at a fast pace we have decided to treat you with a comparison between two great devices, namely Samsung’s current flagship, Galaxy S7 and the OnePlus 3T which is a slight upgrade of the older OnePlus 3.

Samsung Galaxy S7

This year’s Samsung Galaxy S7 easily outsold its competition by a large margin and we can clearly see why. Featuring amazing specifications and hands-down the best design a device can have as it is made from metal and glass it rose to the top pretty fast.

It features a 5.1 inch AMOLED QHD display which sports a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 577PPI. They even featured an always-on screen which lets its users see notifications and time without having to turn on the device, thus saving some battery life.

The S7 comes equipped with a state of the art Snapdragon 820 chip if it is purchased in the US and an Exynos 8890 if you get it from anywhere else. It is packed with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

Samsung Galaxy S7 features a Dual Pixel 12MP snapper with highly tweaked camera software which makes it the best camera phone to have. The whole device is powered by a 3000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 2.0 and Quick Wireless Charging.

OnePlus 3T

The OnePlus 3T sports a 5.5 inch FHD Optic AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 401PPI. Its processor is slightly better than the Samsung’s sporting a Snapdragon 821 paired with 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of non expandable internal storage.

Camera wise it features a sapphire lens 16MP snapper with software improvements from the previous generation of OnePlus devices. Its frontal camera is what it excels as packing a whopping 16MP with f/2.0 aperture which will make every selfie enthusiast go crazy.

The device is powered by a 3400mAh battery which supports Dash Charge. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with promises from its manufacturer that it will be eventually updated to Nougat.

Both phones make great devices to own but considering their price difference as Samsung comes at a whopping $670 whilst the OnePlus 3T is $450 we can clearly differentiate a winner if one is after great specs which come at a great price.
