This year has been a rough one for the South Korean tech giant following its Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. This hasn’t hampered them but rather put the manufacturer back at full swing. One of the products which will see its launch in 2017 is its Galaxy J7, a mid-range phone with close to premium build and specifications.
According to Digital Trends the phone clearly has an improved design than its predecessor based on the renders leaked. The device’s speaker grille changed position to find itself located to the top side above the power button. It used to stay somewhere on the rear. A metallic strip elegantly combines the back snapper which is paired with a LED flash module.
The volume rockers are shown to be positioned on the left side and the power button somewhere on the right edge. The 3.5 headphone jack is still a thing and it can be seen at the bottom of the device paired next to a microphone. A second microphone is to be found at the top.
As leaked by OnLeaks, Samsung’s Galaxy J7 (2017) is to measure 151.34 x 76.20 x 8mm. Its screen is what will make it skyrocket in sales as it features a 5.5 inch AMOLED panel. It will be powered either by an Exynos or Qualcomm chip paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage.
Its camera is nothing but impressive as it features a 13MP back snapper and a 5MP front facing one. The device is to have the latest version of Android Nougat as its operating system and is expected to be launched somewhere around April 2017.
