It’s expected that developers and service providers take it easy in this period due to the upcoming holidays, but NVIDIA remains vigilant and releases a brand new driver fix. This driver update is meant to clear some existent (until now, at least) bugs and errors. The driver patch holds the version number 376.48 and brings more stability to the card’s performance.

Battlefield 1 is one of the biggest games of the year, and certainly one of the top games played online at the moment. NVIDIA is looking to make sure their customers are having an adequate experience in Battlefield 1, thus baking two BF1 related bug fixes into the latest patch.

Battlefield 1 related error fixes include a solution reported about SLI textures. As per the claims of a considerable amount of users, SLI textures tend to flicker in game which has caused annoyance among many players.

Curious enough, this problem wasn’t apparent in the original game build but rather emerged after a previous patching done by EA. This was in the month of November and Battlefield 1 players were forced to choose between turning SLI off and dealing with the flickering ever since.

There is also a BF1 fix for the repeated cases of game crashes that have displeased the community. For reasons that were never made very clear, a lot of users had the bad luck of having their game crash now and then. The new driver patch may help with that, as it directly investigates the issue. Since you have nothing to lose, you might as well give it a try and hope for the best.

If you’re experiencing any game problems and are lacking a solution, you should go ahead and download the latest NVIDIA driver patch and see if it solves your issues.
