Samsung’s Galaxy J7 line has previously accommodated the J7 and J7 Prime and it looks like the series is going to make a return. Although we have no word from Samsung to base our speculation on, we still have a fresh batch of rumors to go over.

Actually, there are a bit more consistent than rumors, as they are device renders which surface online. Again, nothing is confirmed but we can at least get an idea about what the general idea behind the handset might be. Let’s take a look under the hood of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2017.

The 2017 version of the Samsung Galaxy J7, which apparently will dawn the model number SM-J727V, will come with multiple key differences as compared with its predecessors. One of the most important changes from an exterior design point of view is the addition of a metal strip across the rear panel.  The classic right side- left side architecture for the Power button and volume keys respectively can be found on the J7 2017.

The Samsung-developed Exynos processor will be at the core of the smartphone’s specifications, coupled with 3 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. The device will feature a 5.5 inch screen which hopefully will sport Samsung’s signature AMOLED display technology.

There will also be a 13 MP- 5 MP camera combo, with the bigger unit placed on the rear panel while the latter decorates the front panel. The included 3000 mAH battery will try to supplement the device with enough juice to last the entire day.

So far, the specifications showcase a device that isn’t all that different from the previous J7 iteration, albeit changes are indeed visible. The RAM will see a 1 GB increase whereas the battery will see a 0.300 mAH drop when compared to the 2016 model.
