The tech market is filled with competition from all around the globe and it seems like China is becoming a top contender for the number one spot.
Usually, when someone thinks of a Chinese tech manufacturer, Huawei comes to mind but this isn’t the case anymore since Xiaomi has been constantly releasing exquisite smartphones and tech gadgets every year. In fact, one of the most popular devices is Xiaomi has is Redmi Note 3.
It comes as no surprise that the Chinese manufacturer managed to sale millions of Redmi Note 3 units because the device is equipped with rather impressive specs. Xiaomi didn’t shy away from installing the latest hardware pieces and as a result of that the premium edition of Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor which clocks at 1.8 GHz and it’s also coupled with 3GB of dual-channel LPDDR3 RAM. It’s safe to say that the smartphone is able to provide users with stable performances.
The only downside of owning this device is that right now it runs on an older operating system. The device ships with MIUI 7 OS to be more exact, an OS which is built around Android 5.0 Lollipop, but this will change soon.
Users of Redmi Note 3 have been asking Xiaomi to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow for a while and it looks like Xiaomi has been listening because the Chinese company started rolling out the Stable Global ROM for Redmi Note 3 a few days ago.
Installing the latest software update is quite essential and not only because it brings additional features, but because it fixes annoying bugs and security breaches.
Also worth mentioning is that the update is around 1.3GB and it can be installed either OTA or by manually flashing the OS.
