It’s been a year since Xiaomi launched its Mi Pad 2. Being famous for all-screen smartphones and some laptops they are rumored to launch another tablet, namely the Mi Pad 3. It basically copies Apple iPad Air’s design but that doesn’t matter since they do not care about it.

It is rumored to hit the markets just before this year ends. Sporting a 9.7-inch retina display and being an all metal device will come as a pleasant surprise to fans around the world.

It is said to have a 7th Gen Core M chip provided by Intel and 8GB of RAM. It will be available with two storage units, 128GB and 256GB. Being extremely powerful its main competitors are the Lenovo Yoga, HP Elite X2 or even the Asus ZenBook as it might be shipped along with a keyboard dock.

Recently having collaborated with Intel and Microsoft it is likely that it will run Windows 10 with no news of keeping another OS, namely Android on it. Cortana will be available on it as it comes preinstalled and the whole MS Office suite.

It is powered by an enormous battery which is rated at 8290mAh, a fingerprint sensor and USB type C. As for the cameras, the back will sport a 16MP shooter with dual tone flash while the front one will have 8MP.

The Mi Pad 3 which is rumored to be launched on December the 30th will bear a price tag of 1999 CNY on its 128GB version and 2299 CNY on its 256GB one. Being dirt cheap in regard to what it can do and its performances it will be an interesting device to get your hands on.
