Pokemon Go received an important update which included the addition of many new Pokemon to hatch. Players were somehow disappointed with it as they were expecting more Pokemon to the table and the developers are still to address them.

As moreGen 2 Pokemon are getting added to the game you might first want to clear your old eggs. These new Pokemon include the likes of Elekid, Smoochum, Togepi , Pichu,  Cleffa, Igglybuff and Magby.

As you cannot get rid of old eggs in Pokemon Go without hatching them, we highly advise you to go outside and walk for the sake of getting rid of them if you so much dream about catching new Pokemon. New eggs should be put in the incubator as there might be some confusions regarding which egg is an old one and which one is new.

Speaking of Pokemon Eggs, you don’t have to do anything special to get new Pokemon eggs. You just need to go to a random Pokestop and tap your smartphone screen.  You don’t actually get a new egg with each spin so keep trying and don’t lose your faith.

Providing that now you do have the eggs, place them in incubators and go for a walk. There is a fair chance that 2-km eggs will yield Cleffa and Igglybuff, 5-km will get you Togepi or Pichu and 10-km ones will give you the chance of getting Elekid, Magby or Smoochum.

Oh and by the way, don’t get your expectations up because not every egg will get you a Gen 2 Pokemon as you might need to go through some eggs before finally getting your hands on one.

As you have to walk a grand total of 44 kilometers to hatch all of the new Pokemon, it might take some time before you actually get them so you’d better start walking, so good luck with that.
