In order to make sure players will have access to follow-up content, the creative director of the following Mass Effect game; Mac Walters gave future players a strong piece of advice. As soon as they finish playing the game they will have to keep their save file.
Despite the fact that BioWare is extremely determined not to make Mass Effect: Andromeda the beginning of a new trilogy, Game Rant claimed that the game will feature some elements that excited fans over the years. Regarding this, players must keep their save files in case this decision will bring back some classic content for fans to enjoy.
This information was given in a particularly long podcast issued by Game Informer. Mac Walters also hinted that the previous games will have some impact over the new Mass Effect: Andromeda, stating that BioWare is working towards a same impact like the previous games had upon players.
BioWare developers are working towards offering the new Mass Effect game an exciting and at the same time bold ending, similar to the one encountered in the first Mass Effect while adding a lot of variety in the narrative as encountered in Mass Effect 2 to make sure it will not end as it did in Mass Effect 3. The enjoyment of the game should feel satisfactory by offering a better conclusion to the game.
If BioWare decides to make more sequels to Mass Effect: Andromeda, some believe that save games will have an impact upon the decisions players make during the next series of games. As for the PC version of the game, PC Gamer states that it will offer support for those who wish to play the game with native controllers.
Being a new game but still bearing some references to the older ones, Mass Effect: Andromeda will come to light in the first quarter of 2017 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
