Fans of the popular mobile game Clash of Clans should get ready for a massive update heading their way. On top of new troops inspired by the spin-off game Clash Royale, Clash of Clans promises to bring a brand new game mode to enthusiastic players.
The new game more will allegedly be a completely original idea, and not something that looks more like an extension. Such was the case with previous endeavors to extend the game with Friendly Challenges and Clan Wars.
The new Clash of Clans update is presumed to include troops originally featured in Clash Royale. This comes as quite the surprise to fans as the information was learned through a forum post asking about troops finding their way the other way around (from Clash of Clans to Clash Royale). Turns out there is a strong possibility for Clash Royale troops such as Ice Wizards and Lumberjacks to make their way into the game that started the craze, to the excitement of eagerly anticipating fans.
Clash of Clans players have been waiting for a new update since October, when the last big patch hit the popular mobile time-killer. However the game developer, Supercell, has taken some time to focus on getting its newer iteration, Clash Royale up to speed. Thus we received a Clash Royale patch in November, which sparked the interest of more players to join the spinoff.
It will be interesting to see what Supercell come next. While a lot of people enjoy Clash of Clans, it is the general opinion that a brand new game mode will help tremendously with keeping the fans entertained and prevent the game itself from going dull.
There are talks about a December 25th release date for the upcoming update, meaning that the new Clash of Clans game mode will be just in time for Christmas.
