Motorola fans have been expecting Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system to arrive on their Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus handsets for a while now. The reason why Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to arrive to Moto G4 smartphones is because we have just entered in December and Motorola themselves announced that the complete Nougat OS will be rolled out during the fourth quarter of 2016.

In fact, Motorola actually released the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system already, the catch is that they rolled the OS update only to their Moto Z and Moto Z Force flagship devices and this was back in November.

Now seeing that December is coming to an end and there are only 24 days left, Motorola should hurry up and launch the OS updates if the company intends to keep true to its words.

What Motorola has yet to do is to unveil the complete list with all of their devices that are eligible for the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The only devices that have been confirmed to receive the update are: Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto X Play, Moto X Pure Edition and Moto G Play.

This raises the question if other popular Motorola devices such as Moto G3 will receive the update or not, all we can do right now is to wait for Motorola to announce it officially.

Even though Motorola is struggling with the release of the latest OS update, Google’s own Nexus devices have been enjoying the Nougat update for a while now.

The complete Nougat experience is what every Android fan wishes for right now because it brings more functionality to their devices alongside innovative features and even support for Google’s own Daydream VR.
