Pokemon Go was the most highly anticipated game and when it was finally released the whole world went crazy about it. The game had everyone out on the streets looking for Pokemon and now seeing the major success the game has been benefiting from, the developing company is adding new features. The new update has been created with only purpose in mind, to keep players entertained and to attract new players while making some money at the same time.

Niantic Labs, the creator of the game has found a way of raising the game’s popularity while at the same time bringing in huge profits. The game developer teamed up with Starbucks and created virtual arenas in over 7,800 Starbucks stores that are spread all over the U.S. in which players will be able to get access to PokeStops and Poke Gyms as well.



This is a great marketing scheme that will boost both Niantic Labs and Starbucks sales by a large margin because players will now be able to enjoy a hot freshly made Starbucks coffee while catching Pokemon at the same time. In fact, Starbucks actually created a Pokemon Go Frappuccino that’s made from vanilla beans, dried whole blackberries and raspberry syrup.

Starbucks isn’t the only company to receive this much attention from Pokemon Go, other stores such as RadioShack, Boost Mobile and Sprint are also being transformed into Poke Gyms and PokeStops. A report from Niantic Labs shows that over 10,500 Sprint stores have been changed already and the company is already generating extra Pokemon in those areas.

While the mobile game is still one of the most popular games, it hasn’t been on the first place for some time now, but the addition of these new features will surely increase the game’s popularity once again. Especially seeing how much the game’s popularity was increased during the Halloween themed update.
