It looks like Samsung has designed a device for every budget ranges and one of the most affordable devices made by Samsung is the Galaxy On7 Pro. As everyone knows, the smartphone market is very competitive and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 seems to be Samsung’s greatest competitor.
The devices have been going head to head on the market for a while and right now we will compare their specs and design so we can decide which one is the worth its money.
Both devices use the Android operating system the only difference being that the Redmi Note 3 runs on the Lollipop OS while the Galaxy On7 Pro runs on the more advanced Marshmallow OS. If it looks like the Galaxy device is more enhanced because of its operating system, this isn’t the case because the Xioami device compensates for this with its powerful hardware parts.
The Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 processor that’s rather impressive considering that the Galaxy On7 Pro is powered by an older Snapdragon 410 processor. Both devices sport the same 2GB amount of RAM and 16GB of internal memory storage, the only difference is that the Redmi Note 3 can be bought in different variants that go up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space.
Xioami’s device seems to win in the battery department as well because it’s equipped with a large 4050 mAh battery that has the fast-charging feature while Galaxy On7 Pro uses a smaller 3,000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy device sports an all plastic chassis while the Xioami one uses a metal chassis. The On7 Pro sports a 5.5 inch screen while on the other hand the Redmi Note 3 has the same 5.5 inch screen but it looks bigger because of the screen to body ratio it has and also because of the higher pixels per inch.
