It seems that Motorola is working intensively on the successors of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus as images of the two upcoming handsets have leaked on the internet. There’s a screenshot that focuses on the front of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, and the other screenshot revealed the specs of the smartphones.
According to the leaked screenshot, both devices will be powered by an octa-core processor, they will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a 5Mp front camera, while their batteries will support the turbo charging feature.
The only differences between the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are the related to the related to the resolutions of their rear cameras, as the former will come with a weaker camera of 13MP, while the latter will use a slightly more advanced primary camera of 16MP; the G5 Plus will sport a fingerprint scanner and will be available in two variants of internal memories of 16GB and 32GB, while the G5 will be shipped out in one variant of 16GB.
Both devices will be released on March 8, although Motorola hasn’t confirmed the information yet. Nor their prices have been disclosed, but since currently, the G4 costs $200 and the G4 Plus is $50 more expensive, we’re expecting similar release prices for the G5 and G5 Plus.
