Samsung has released its Galaxy S7 in March 2016, while the Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be revealed this month. Today we will compare these two handsets and let you decide which one of them suits your needs better.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 measures 156.9×78.9×7.9mm and weights 190 grams. Likewise its successor, it comes with the same glass and metal design, but Samsung has made it dust and water resistant. On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 9 measures 142.4×69.6×7.9mm and weights only 152 grams, but it has a full metal body, slightly curved on the edges and it placed the fingerprint scanner on the back, below the camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a super AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 577 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Huawei Mate 9 has a bigger IPS LCD display of 5.9-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 373 ppi.

The Huawei Mate 9 features a Hisilicon Kirin 960 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A73 CPU clocked at 2.4GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz, a Mali-G71 MP8 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 has been released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, while the Huawei Mate 9 comes with an internal storage of 64GB. Both handsets feature a microSD card slot which can be used to expand your storage up to 256GB using a memory card.
