Four months have passed since Pokémon Go has been released. A few days ago, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon have been released for Nintendo 3DS in the US and Japan and it seems that these two games will be available today (November 23, 2016) for European players, as well.

According to reports, Nintendo’s Sun and Moon sequels in the popular Pokémon franchise have beaten 3DS game sales record and past Pokémon launch performances. In fact, the sales were 150% higher compared to the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Tomorrow we will see how well the game will be received in Europe, but Nintendo is expecting to have success in this region too.

It is good to know that the Pokémon Go is not a core part of the Pokémon series and the gameplay for this AR game is not similar to the game that will be released for the Nintendo 3DS. However, there are reports which are suggesting that many gamers who have tried the Pokémon Go will also check the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

We remind you that the previous games in this series have been the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, which have been released back in October 2013. The Pokémon Go came to mobile devices in July 2016 and it has been downloaded over 500 million times. We have to agree that this is quite impressive, but there are even higher expectations for the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

Both games will be available on Amazon UK starting November 23 and they will cost £32, but fans will be also able to buy The Official Strategy Guide by Pokémon Company Paperback for £13.79 or the Pokemon Sun and Moon Hard Case for £12.99.

Will you play the Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon once they will be released to Europe? Why do you think Pokémon Go has lost so many players in a few months?
