In September 2015, Google released its Pixel C tablet, which comes with an 1800 pixel resolution and has a 10.2-inch display. It also includes a 308ppi pixel density. Compared to many other devices out on the market, it’s quite nice with specs that are rarely seen.
The company, which deals in Internet-related services and products, also owns the Android operating software. And, combining its software and hardware technology, Google has developed a powerful product that many people are interested in buying.
What Are Some Of The Pixel C Features
If you like the idea of a large screen on your mobile device, the Pixel C is the way to go – it’s got a 10.2-inch screen with a 2560×1080 pixel and 308ppi pixel density that’s not typically seen on other Android tablets.
The negative aspect of the design is the lack of two important points:
- No external memory card slot
- No cellular connectivity
However, the lack of these items shouldn’t take away from the tablet. There are many devices that don’t have this and still sell quite well. It does have the ability to connect to Wi-Fi, which is wonderful for people who love tablets.
It also comes with an optional keyboard design – great for people who type for a living. A keyboard can also be connected using a magnetic hinge. The connection between keyboard and tablet is made through Bluetooth and battery-powered. The tablet will charge the keyboard when attached at the front.
The Pixel C is powered by the octa-core Nvidia Tegra X1 system-on-a-chip processor. Four of its cores work quicker; the other four work at a slower pace. This is quite efficient when it comes to power. It doesn’t matter what model size you get – 32GB or 64GB, it comes with 3GB of RAM. It’s loaded with the Marshmallow firmware, and may soon be upgraded to the Nougat.
The Pixel C has a 2MP front-facing camera; the back camera is 8MP and includes an array of features like the image editing tools.
There are not many devices that have similar aspects to the Pixel C, especially when it comes to productivity and performance. But, those that do tend to cost a lot of money.
