Samsung is working diligently on the Galaxy Tab S3, but the South Korean tech giant is staying quiet on its release date. But, rumors are circulating that it’ll be sometime 2017 that the device will be made public.
Trusted Review recently reported Samsung is getting close to making its Galaxy Tab S3 available. The company has asked the FCC for a certification for its telecommunication device. There are reports the S3 will be available come mid-2017.
Evan Blast, Twitter user, shared a leaked Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 design in a post. The third-generation tablet isn’t that much different from previous models. The device’s display aspect ratio is just 16:10, which is a backward step from the S2’s 4:3. And, this may not bold well for many consumers.
However, the dimensions may be forgiven if the S3 does have the AMOLED screen that comes in either eight inches or 9.7 inches. It’s also liable to have the Octa-Core Exynos 8890 chipset, similar to its Galaxy S7 models. And, the rumors is that it’ll have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 82 processor to boost the device’s performance.
It’s been noted that it may also have the following specs:
- 4GB of RAM
- 32GB and 64GB of internal storage
- 2MP front camera and 8MP rear camera
- USB-C type as seen on the Galaxy Note 7
