WhatsApp is a popular mobile messaging application, being used by more than 1 billion people from all over the world. Today we will give you some tips and tricks that you can use while chatting with your friends who have installed this application.
Protecting Your Privacy
We’re pretty sure that you usually talk to your friends on WhatsApp, but sometimes there are also some stalkers who want to check your profile photo, when you were “last seen” online etc. Well, you can protect yourself by doing some changes in Settings->Account->Privacy and set who can see your last seen, profile photos, status and other stuff.
Setting A Password For Your WhatsApp
As you already know, you can’t set a password for your WhatsApp application. In other words, if you give your device to someone to give a call or to play on it, then there are high chances that (s)he will take a look at your WhatsApp to see who you are chatting with and, more especially, what you are talking about. You can set a password on your WhatsApp application via third party applications such as App Locker or AppLock. You can download one from the Google Play Store.
Using WhatsApp Web
If you are a person who spends a good amount of time on the computer, then you will want to use the WhatsApp Web feature. This feature allows you to log into your WhatsApp account via the browser on your computer. Just open your browser on your PC, head to web.whatsapp.com and scan the QR code with your smartphone.
HINT: The QR code can be scanned after you open the WhatsApp application on your smartphone and select the WhatsApp Web option. Once you do this, you will be able to use the primary camera of your device to scan the QR code.
Drawing, Writing On Your Photos
Last month, the developers have released a new feature for the WhatsApp application. This feature is already found on Snapchat, Skype and Instagram, and it allows you to edit photos before you send them to your friends. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to add text, emoji and even draw the photos you will send on the WhatsApp application.
