Sharing is caring!

Everyone cares about their privacy and when it comes to messages sent on mobile messaging applications, we’re pretty sure that many try to keep them as secret as possible.

We live in a world where hackers are now able to crack all kinds of security protections, especially on mobile devices, so it’s very important to ensure the security of your device. It seems that WhatsApp is now rolling out a new security system, which will make sure that your messages will stay private.

It seems that you can now use a two-factor authentication on WhatsApp. This new system will bring a new level of security to the application, which means that the hackers will have a harder time accessing your WhatsApp account.

You can activate the two-factor authentication on your WhatsApp application by heading to Account -> Two-step verification menu. This new protection comes with a six-digit passcode that you will need to enter when a new phone is register to your account. In addition, you will be able add an email address to your account, which you will need to use in order to reset the passcode (if you forget it).

Thanks to this new protection, you will make sure that only you will be able to access the WhatsApp account. This means that the messages that you send via this application are now more secure than ever.

We remind you that the WhatsApp application has finally received the Video Calling feature last month and it is now available on the BETA versions of the application that run on iOS and Android. More new features are expected to be added to the WhatsApp application sometime in the near future.

What are your thoughts about the two-factor authentication feature that has been released on WhatsApp?
