Google is always working on its products and it seems that right now is trying to change the looks on the official Android store. Some users have already reported that they’ve noticed some significant changes to the Google Play Store.
Google Play Store: Install Button Is Bigger
One of the first things that you will notice is the big “Install” button that is now found on the official Android store. You will notice it as soon as you find an application/game that you want to install on your device. At the same time, the ratings are now more distinguishable. In addition, the category that the application belongs to is now located under its description. You will also notice that the user interface of the Google Play Store has now a darker shade of green.
According to some screenshots that have been spotted on the internet, the main page of the Google Play Store is now smaller. The “More Information” page is now found above the developer’s information (before it was found under the app description).
It is good to know that this new User Interface has been noticed on the Nexus 6P device that was running on Android 7.1.1. It seems that, currently, Google is still testing out the changes that it has made to its Android official store with a small number of users. This means that some of you might already see the changes, while others will only see them once this update goes official. However, if Google will be pleased with the feedback that it will receive from the users, we think that the changes will appear on all Android devices sometime in the near future.
HINT: We remind you that Google has teased us with a new look of the Play Store a while ago, when it has published a Video on YouTube where it showcased how to get started using the new Pixel smartphones.
