It was 12 years ago that Google released its Gmail program, which quickly became the must-use email service. 10 years later the company released Gmail version 5.0 for Android devices, which allowed people the ability to send and receive email that arrived from non-Gmail addresses. And, the company released another update that offers a responsive design.
In 2015, Google offered the Inbox by Gmail, which is an email app with an array of features. It’s latest version – 1.32 – has some noteworthy changes.
Any device that uses iOS or Android can install the Inbox by Gmail, and it usable on three browsers – Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Why should you consider this email service?
- You can snooze messages to review at another time.
- You can bundle like emails.
- You can get Google-Now style cards that let users know about various things such as flight times, movie times, etc.
It can increase productivity with these features, and Google continually updates it with new features. Google recently released the APK update 1.32 for users to take advantage of.
The update allows users to delete emails easily or include Drive links into their emails (Google Dive integration) and are notified when recipients look at the linked content. Plus, it’ll be easier to find Trello and GitHub project emails since they are lumped together. Along with these changes, the company addressed various performance issues and bugs.
The 1.32 APK download file is 17.47MB and is installable on Android 4.1 through 7.0 devices. People can download the file from either the Google Play Store or reliable third-party sources. Before they can do this though, they may need to enable the option for Unknown Sources, which is done by visiting Settings and Applications.
If you own a device with iOS on it, you need to download the version 1.3.33, which was added to the App Store in September.
