It seems that the developers of the WhatsApp application have been quite busy in the last couple of weeks. The company has released new WhatsApp versions for Android and iOS which have brought the awaited Video Calling feature and it seems that the Windows 10 Mobile version was not left behind (as Windows Phone was in the past), because a new WhatsApp BETA update has been released for it.

Unfortunately, WhatsApp version 2.16.272 BETA for Windows 10 Mobile doesn’t come with the Video Calling feature, but it brings some changes to the User Interface. In addition, thanks to the new version, you will be able to edit images before you send them to your friends.

Apart from being able to crop the image, you will also add text and emoticons to it. The changes can be made one by one, but you can also cancel the entire operation with a tap. It is quite nice that you can now add text to images, as you can create your own memes for the WhatsApp groups you’re in or even use them to send them to your favorite friends.

The WhatsApp application for Windows 10 Mobile is also expected to receive the Video Calling feature sometime soon. However, there is no official information when this will happen, but we expect it to be added as soon as a new BETA version of the application will be released.

Once the Video Calling feature will be added to the WhatsApp application for Windows 10 Mobile, you will be able to use it to Video Call your friends that have WhatsApp BETA installed on either iOS or Android.

Do you think that the Video Calling feature will be added on the next WhatsApp BETA version that will be released for Windows 10 Mobile or it will take longer for the developers to introduce it?
