Microsoft has confirmed the Xbox Live Games with Gold for November. Subscribers will be able to add four games to their collections and play them for free through this month, but they won’t be the titles that were previously rumored, and which included “King’s Quest”, “Battlefield” and “Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition.”
Every month, Xbox Live Gold members are receiving free games on the Xbox Store to play on their Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. The advantages of having an Xbox Live Gold Membership is that gamers get exclusive discounts up to 50-75% on games in the Xbox Store, advanced multiplayer and many more. The price for a 3-month Xbox Live Gold membership is $24.99 (download or card), while for an entire year, gamers pay $59.99.
Games with Gold are available in 41 countries and regions: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States.
So, if you happen to live in one of the aforementioned countries and you signed up for an Xbox Live Gold membership, these are the games you’ll be playing for free through November:
November 1-30: Super Dungeon Bros ($19.99), which won the “Best Social Game Award” at Game Connection Europe (2014) and which is about a band of rock bros that navigate the medieval and dangerous dungeons from Rökheim, where they fight evil undead;
November 16-December 15: Murdered Soul Suspect ($19.99), an adventure mystery stealth title in which players explore a world through a third-person view and try to hunt down a notorious serial killer;
Xbox 360 and Backwards Compatibility
November 1-15: Monkey Island SE ($9.99), a 2D adventure game seen from a 3D perspective in which players solve puzzles and unveil the secret in the Monkey Island;
November 16-30: Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon ($14.99), a first-person shooter that takes place on a retro-futuristic open world island. The game is a parody of 1980s action films and games, and the main character will be the military cyborg Sergeant Rex “Power” Colt.
