The first rumors surrounding the Huawei Mate 9 popped up in September and reported that the new smartphone will have a premium version with 256GB of internal storage memory and 6GB of RAM. Some new speculations about Huawei Mate 9 show that the display screen is going to be 5.9-inch and that it will have a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560.

The device is supposedly going to come with a Kirin 960 chipset, Mali-G71 MP8 GPU and an octa-core CPU. The rear side of Huawei Mate 9 is going to be equipped with dual cameras of 20MP and 12MP, and beneath the cameras there will be a fingerprint scanner, for safer phone security and also for mobile payments.

There are going to be three different versions of the smartphone, the premium one with 6GB of RAM, 256GB of storage memory and the 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage one, and another version that will have the same amount of RAM, but it will come with a improved internal storage memory of 64GB, but keep in mind that these devices will more than likely be equipped with slots for microSD cards, and the storage memory is going to be increased to even higher numbers.

The price for these versions is going to be $550 for the 64GB one and $480 for the other. Also the front camera is going to be an 8MP selfie one.

Huawei Mate 9 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the smartphone will also come in a few different colors, the exclusive black color that buyers of the premium versions will receive, and also the white, gold, brown, gray and pink.

The premium version of Huawei Mate 9 with 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is going to be released with the price of $700.
