The new Android Nougat has already reached a lot of different smartphones around the world. Some of the devices received the update just in the beta form, but soon the update will be available for all other handsets.

The first devices that received the update were Google’s Nexus devices. Two month have passed since then and it is expected that the rest of Nexus devices will soon receive their OS update.

The Chinese producer Xioami, are known to receive late updates. When Marshmallow has rolled out in October 2015, their devices, the Mi 4, Mi 3 and Mi Note received the update after 5 months. So Xioami device owners should be a little patient regarding Nougat.

The first Nexus devices that got the OS update are the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C. The updates are coming at a slow rate and owners of those devices should not be worried if their update comes a little slower.

Sony’s X series will also receive the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS update on their Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Zperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia X, XPeria XA, Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia X.

Owners of Samsung devices are still waiting for the update to come to them. It has been three months since the Android 7.0 Nougat has rolled-out and they still haven’t received it. According to Korea Times, a report in August said that the new Android 7.0 Nougat OS will come to Samsung devices after three months of its release, and November is the third month, so Samsung users can expect their update to come soon enough.
