Samsung, the South Korean tech company, is currently working on a device that would succeed its Galaxy Tab S2. Of course, details about the release date are being kept under wraps. If the rumors are true, it could be sometime next year when the device is released.
Trusted Review noted Samsung was close to releasing its Galaxy Tab S3 with the company applying for certification – the top certification board for telecommunication devices. There are talks that the S3 will launch in mid-2017.
Evan Blast shared a Twitter post, sharing the design of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It’s not much different from the other Galaxy Tab. The aspect ratio of the display is only 16:10 compared to the S2 4:3. And, if you like the idea of a square tablet, this is may not be what you want.
If you can overlook the dimension issue, you may be glad to know that the AMOLED screen comes in both eight-inch and 9.7-inch screens. It may also include the Samsung Octa-Core Exynos 8890 chipset. And, rumors suggest the S3 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 82 processor.
The device also comes with 4GB of RAM with an internal storage option of either 32GB or 64GB. Its rear camera is 8MP while the front camera is 2MP. It’s possible it’ll include a USB-C type as seen in the Galaxy Note 7.
The Galaxy Tab S2 is liable to be waterproof and operate on the Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS.
