Do you own one of the HTC or LG devices we’ve mentioned in the title? Do you want to update it to the Android 7.0 Nougat? Well, you’ve come to the right place, as today we will give you some information about when this major update will be released for your device.

HTC Has Confirmed The Android 7.0 Nougat For HTC One A9, HTC One M9 And HTC 10

According to some earlier rumors, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the HTC One A9, HTC One M9 and HTC 10 will be released this month (October 2016, although there are four days left and there’s no sign of Nougat). However, since things are progressing very slow, it seems that the mentioned handsets will actually get the Android 7.0 Nougat update sometime in November-December 2016.

Android 7.0 Nougat for LG G3, LG G5 And LG V10

According to reports, the LG G3, LG G5 and LG V10 will be updated to the Android 7.0 Nougat in November 2016. However, this has not been confirmed yet by Samsung, so we can’t say for sure that the update will truly be released next month or it will take longer.

Android Software Updates webpage of Optus is already showing that the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the LG G5 is already in the works. When it comes to the LG V10, it seems that this device will not receive the update sooner than February-March 2017. The LG G3 will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update later than LG V10, which means that we should not expect the update for this handset before March 2017.

Don’t Install Custom ROMs

If you own a device that’s eligible for Android 7.0 Nougat, we suggest you to wait until the official update will be released. If you install a custom ROM on your smartphone you will lose its warranty and you can also damage the handset if you’ve never installed a custom ROM before.
