While there are some that believe Microsoft will not release its newest Surface  devices will only drop sometime next year, a lot of rumors are flying right now about a possible October 26th release date for its newest devices, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Book 2. Also, there are rumors about a Surface PC coming out from Microsoft, which is supposedly an all in one device.

A strong clue is the fact that Amazon has branded the current Surface devices, which are the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, as  “old versions”, meaning that most likely they know something we don’t, and there is a very strong possibility for Microsoft to release  something this year. However, there is also a strong chance that we are looking at a potential upgrade for the existing models, which may consist of things like an upgraded processor and the likes of that. Either way, a lot of people would be pleased to see Microsoft bring out something new.

Some of the specifications rumored to come with the brand new devices are 16 GB of RAM and the one of the latest Intel processors, which are the Kaby Lake and Skylake and NVIDIA graphics cards.

Even though rumors also claim there will be a lower end version with only 2k resolution as opposed to the standard 4k resolution model, given the overall high end nature of both, you can expect them to have quite the price tag. But that’s not all bad news, as combined with the fact that we might see processor upgrades for the current models means that there is a likely drop in price for the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. This can only please lower end consumers.
