Today we will talk about Microsoft’s Lumia 650 and Apple’s iPhone 6s, which are two mid-tier handsets that come with some pretty good specifications. If you prefer to run Windows 10 universal applications on a low-end phone, then the Lumia 650 is worth purchasing, but if you’re ready t spend a lot of money on a premium phone that runs on iOS 10, then you’ll be fascinated with the iPhone 6s.
The Lumia 650 measures 142×70.9×6.9mm and weights 122 grams. It’s a simple phone with a plastic back available in two colors: white and black and its frame is made of metal, to be more resistant to scratches. On the other hand, the iPhone 6s is thicker and heavier as it measures 138.3×67.1×7.1mm and weights 143 grams. It has an aluminum body with antenna bars on its back, and fans can opt for the Rose Gold variant, which is more… feminine.
The Lumia 650 has an OLED display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 297 ppi. The iPhone 6s has a smaller LED-backlit IPS LCD display of 4.7-inch that supports a slightly higher resolution of 1334×750 pixels at 326 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The Lumia 650 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, an Adreno 304 graphics card and 1GB of RAM. The iPhone 6s comes with an Apple A9 chipset, a dual-core Twister processor clocked at 1.84GHz, a PowerVR GT7600 graphics card and 2GB of RAM.
The Lumia 650 has been released with only 16GB of internal storage, but don’t worry, because you will be able to expand it up to 256GB using a microSD card. The iPhone 6s comes in four internal storage variants of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, but it doesn’t offer a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Lumia 650 sports a primary camera of 8MP that features LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP. The iPhone 6s comes with a better primary camera of 12MP that features phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, panorama, touch focus and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The Lumia 650 is powered by a removable battery of 2000 mAh, while the iPhone 6s has a non-removable battery of 1715 mAh, but with a similar lifespan of 13-14 hours.
