The Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition is a premium Windows tablet for both regular and business users, being a great alternative to Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4. Its Gold body is a turn on, but the tablet has many other advantages. Samsung is offering a full-sized detachable keyboard and integrated touchpad, making the Galaxy TabPro S perfect for heavy-duty work.
The Galaxy TabPro S is very slim (6.5 mm) and light (693 grams), it has a 12-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and inside, it houses an Intel Core M3 6Y30 processor clocked at 2.20GHz, which is backed by an Intel HD Graphics unit and 8GB of RAM. The internal storage has a generous capacity of 256GB, so you can keep plenty photos, videos, games and even movies without worrying that you’ll run out of space.
It’s powered by a 5200mAh battery that’s not removable and it lasts up to ten hours when watching videos. Also, the tablet has a 5MP camera on each side, without LED flash and it’s equipped with three sensors: Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient light sensor. The TabPro Pen is not included in the package, so you’ll need to pay $50 for it. As for the detachable keyboard, it has an integrated touchpad and it connects to the tablet using a Pogo pin connector. This luxe form of the Galaxy TabPro S costs $1000, which is $100 more than the price of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with 128GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core m3 processor.
Microsoft’s 2-in-1 tablet has a display with a diagonal of 12.3-inch, but which supports a higher resolution of 2736×1824 pixels. Also, its camera is Windows Hello-compatible, so it can be used to authenticate the user without needing to enter a password.
