The Honor 8 along with the Honor 8 Smart and the Honor Holly 3 have just been launched in India. The Honor 8 smartphone was first released in China back in July and went on to be unveiled in other countries in Europe and the US.

The Honor 8 Smart, is a watered down version of the Honor 8 that doesn’t come with a dual camera. It features a 5.2 inch Full HD screen and it’s powered by an octa core Kirin 650 chipset that’s clocked at 2.0 GHz. The device also packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space that can be expanded via a microSD card.

In terms of camera, it features two of them: a 13 MP rear sided one that has an f/2.0 aperture and an 8 MP front sided one with a similar aperture.



As for battery, it comes with a 3.000 mAh one and it features many connectivity options. Lastly, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it has EMUI 4.1 on top of it as well.

The Honor Holly 3, on the other hand, is an India specific device that comes with somewhat similar characteristics. It is powered by a Kirin 620 chipset and it sports 2 GB of RAM plus 16 GB of native storage space. Like the Honor 8 Smart it comes with a 13 MP rear sided camera and an 8 MP front sided one. It runs Android Marshmallow as well as EMUI 4.1.

As for the Honor 8, it appears that India will only get to buy the 4GB of RAM plus 32 GB of internal storage space. The device costs $448 and it can be purchased from the Honor online store, Amazon India and Flipkart.

The Honor 8 Smart costs $288 and the Honor Holly 3 costs $149 and they can both be purchased from the aforementioned online stores.
