The future release places the game among the first VR titles that will be available on the online marketplace in Sony’s products. It will even predate the release of the PlayStation VR device itself. Thumper is in fact an action game where you can help a space beetle descend in a psychedelic trip to a frightening void. Just like Rez Infinite, Thumper also offers a background music track, offering you a multi-sensorial experience.

The much awaited Thumper title for PlayStation VR seems to be released earlier than everybody was expecting. More precisely, it will get to see its launch on Monday night, as a surprise and reward for all the gamers who have expected the title for years, according to a statement issued by the developers.

The future release places the game among the first VR titles that will be available on the online marketplace in Sony’s products. It will even predate the release of the PlayStation VR device itself. Thumper is in fact an action game where you can help a space beetle descend in a psychedelic trip to a frightening void. Just like another VR game the Rez Infinite, Thumper also offers a background music track, offering you a multi-sensorial experience.

Besides the already-announced support for VR, Thumper is also found among the first games that base themselves on the increased hardware power added to the PlayStation 4 Pro console. However, you can’t see any exact benefits until the upgraded version of the console will be released on the 10th of November.

Marc Flury, who is a co-founder of the Drool studio, declared that the team is happy to be able to offer PS4 Pro support right from the first day of Thumper. He said that everybody worked hard to bring the best graphics to Thumper, and thanks to the extra power they have, they managed to push the ideas they had even further.

He also added that on the PS4 Pro, the game can be played at the amazing 4K resolution, and this happens without any upscaling! In this way you will be able to enjoy a high-gloss HD experience. PlayStation 4 Pro also offers an excellent VR quality, while preserving the 90 fps speed and quality of the image. As it seems, the game can also be played with a classic PC version and controllers, plus it offers support for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
