The Android 7.1 Nougat version is now available for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The Nexus devices have already started to receive the Android update, so these users will be able to enjoy it soon. Soon, other devices will start to get the rollout, such as HTC, LG, OnePlus, Sony, Samsung and Xiaomi.

  • Samsung – Both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been seen while testing a version of the Nougat OS, so that means that they will also receive the update. The Android Nougat version will improve the Always-on Display feature and the Grace UX. The update for the Galaxy Note 7 has been delayed due to their battery explosions problems. Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge +, S6 Edge and S6 will also be updated by the end of the year.
  • The first HTC device that will receive the latest Andoid OS will be HTC 10, towards the end of this year. The unlocked versions of the HTC One M9 and One A9 will also be running Android N later, together with the carrier options after that. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro will also be upgraded soon.
  • A document that leaked from Sony Slovakia showed the recent upgrade to be hitting the Sony Xperia XZ and Sony Xperia 9X Performance this month. Xperia X and Xperia X Compact will be upgraded in November. December will bring the latest Android OS to Xperia Z5 Premium, Z5 Compact and Z5.
  • the first non-Nexus handset to get the Android Nougat will be LG V20. Everyobdy expects the LG G5, G4 and V10 to also receive the rollout soon, which might include a LG UX 5.0+ interface. However, there is no official confirmation for the exact devices that get the latest operating system from Google.
