Motorola Moto G4 Plus has been released back in May 2016, while the Apple iPhone 7 Plus was unveiled last month and it started to hit the stores worldwide. Today we will compare these two handsets and let you decide which one of them is perfect for you.

Designs

The Moto G4 Plus measures 153×76.6×9.8mm and weights 155 grams. It has a matte plastic back that’s curved on the edges and on its back you’ll recognize the familiar dimple with the M logo printed inside. On the other hand, the iPhone 7 Plus is slimmer and heavier as it measures 158.2×77.9×7.3mm and weights 188 grams. Its body is made of aluminum, as usual, but the radio bars have been moved to the top and bottom edges. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed and the home button has been replaced by a mechanical push-button.



Displays

Both devices come with an IPS LCD display of 5.5-inch that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi.

Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM

The Moto G4 Plus features a Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, an Adreno 405 graphics card and 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The iPhone 7 Plus has an Apple A10 Fusion chipset, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.23GHz, a six-core graphics card and 3GB of RAM.

Storages

The Moto G4 Plus comes in three internal storage variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, which you can expand up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the other hand, the iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t feature a microSD card slot for storage expansion, but it comes in three internal storage variants of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB.

Cameras

The Moto G4 Plus sports a primary camera of 16MP that features laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, auto-HDR, panorama and a secondary camera of 5MP. The iPhone 7 Plus has a dual primary camera of 12MP that features phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, quad-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and a secondary camera of 7MP.

Batteries

The Moto G4 Plus is powered by a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh, while the iPhone 7 Plus has a 2900 mAh battery which is also non-removable.
