WhatsApp has been with Android devices for quite some time now. In fact, it has served millions of people around the world already from the day it was launched. However, a Beta version of WhatsApp might as well be a great way to test some features not yet available on the current version.

Releasing a Beta Version

Just recently, WhatsApp developers boldly released a Beta program. This was done because they might already felt confident enough about their ecosystem. The concept was to test out the new features that is yet to be released in public. Here are benefits about the beta release of WhatsApp.

Sign In to Google Play

If you are willing to try out a Beta program from the developers, you can gain access to the latest version of WhatsApp at any time possible. This is considered newer than the standard. However, this new version will require the user to sign in to Google Play. So, using the existing account, you need to visit the testing portal of WhatsApp called Google Play.

Installation is Necessary

You will then be prompted and asked about the existence of such an app on your device. If you already have this app, then you will get updates together with the testing version in a while. But, if you don’t have the app yet, it will prompt you to have it downloaded first from the Google Play Store. After a while, you will be prompted with a testing version. Most of the time, it can take a few hours before the update will arrive.

If you are not in favor of this method, you will be given an option to leave. On the other hand, you will be provided with a link upon joining the program. When you leave the program subjected for testing, you can choose an option to uninstall the WhatsApp Beta version on Android, while installing the app again on Play Store. Perhaps this is method is secured because you don’t have to leave the browser just to sign in for the account.
