How You Can Download and Install WhatsApp 2.16.248 To Your Android Device
Remember, the latest WhatsApp version is in the BETA stage so you must become a beta tester to actually use it. This is done by becoming a tester through the Google Play Store web page. After you’ve done this, go to the official Google Play Store and download the new version and install it.
And, it’s likely you’ll see bugs and other problems. If you do, make developers aware of them so that they’re fixed when the app is released with a stable version.
