Here is what is happening right now in the world of consoles and their games. The PlayStation Plus will showcase its game lineup today, Skyrim has remastered mods and there’s a new Fallout 4 update.

The games lineup on the PlayStation Plus site will go live in a few hours and the hardcore gamers amongst you should be on the lookout for grabbing this months’ free titles. Right now, those titles include Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Lords of the Fallen, Datura, Badland, Journey and Amnesia: Memories. However, the store will refresh them very soon and it is believed that the next titles that can be acquired for free are Mad Riders and From Dust for PS3, Resident Evil and Transformers: Devastation for PS4 and Code: Realize and Actual Sunlight for PS Vita.

As for the Mods for the remastered version of Skyrim for PS4, it appears that a fan sent a detailed video to Bethesda that suggests alternatives to the PS4 mods that were tuned down by Sony recently. To this, Pete Hines – head of Bethesda marketing – replied that they don’t lack alternatives and that they are still looking for the best solution for the players. He also tweeted that PS4 players will receive modding of some kind but that they can’t get into specifics.

At the same time Pete Hines also mentioned that the same Trophies and Achievements will be available on both the Xbox and the PlayStation platforms and that gamers will now have to buy platform specific games.

On the Fallout 4 front, there now a new update rolling out to the Xbox One and PC versions of the game that comes with fixes for three DLCs: Nuka World, Far Harbor and Contraptions. However, there is no word about a similar update for Fallout 4 on PS4, but Bethesda reassured fans that it will come later.
